The SAT is an international competitive exam that is accepted by most US universities and colleges for admissions to bachelor programmes. Many colleges and universities use the SAT as one of the indicators to admit students. SAT scores are also helpful in securing a scholarship. While most universities accept SAT-I scores, there are many universities that also require you to take the SAT-II.
